Foodies At Hospital Unite – Celebrate Master Chef Artemis

Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon organised ‘Master Chef – Artemis’ as a part of the National Nutrition Week Celebrations (1st to 7th September). The theme for the competition was ‘Low Cost, High Calorie, High Protein Dish’.

The esteemed panel of judges included Chef Pablo Morales – Executive Pastry Chef from The Leela Ambience Gurgaon Hotel & Residences, Chef S.M. Bhatt from Ramada Gurgaon Central, and Dr. (Col) B Kalra – Master Chef Artemis 2014 & Consultant Cardiology. They evaluated each item on the basis of the set standards – healthy and nutritional ingredients, taste, recipe card and presentation – to mark the contestants on a scale of 10.

Chef Pablo appreciated the event and said, “The participants have put in a lot of efforts in creating a unique dish and their creativity is commendable! I totally enjoyed myself here and I anticipate being a part of it again next year.”

The event had 21 enthusiastic participants from Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon. Jenifur Pilania and Shweta Balhara from International Marketing team were declared ‘Master Chef – Artemis 2015’; their entry Indian Canape’ Chaat which was presented with a welcome drink – Mojito! It was highly appreciated by all the judges and got a thunderous applause and highest number of votes from the audience.

‘Master Chef – Artemis’ is an initiative especially designed to encourage the culinary talents of the contestants at a bigger platform. This talent hunt has been a sought after event which sees great participation every year.
