The Versova police have registered an FIR against an unidentified person regarding the leak of Akshara Haasan’s private photographs. They are also verifying if the photos are morphed or are genuine. The police are also investigating if the suspect hacked her phone or any other gadget to get access to the photos.
The actress tweeted that it was very disturbing and upsetting for a young girl to see her private photographs leaked on the internet. An FIR has been registered and a case under Section 500 IPC which deals with defamation has been filed. The Cyber cell has also been informed to seek their help to track down the culprit.
