Adith Arun, Actor: Intermittent Fasting. It’s based on ancient Indian eating habits, where one doesn’t eat anything for about two-thirds of the day. That is fasting for 16 hours and feasting for the other 8 hours. It’s amazing for toning your body, especially if your body is saturated with intensive workouts and other tedious diet regimes. It’s possible to just start the diet so to kick start it one has to start with a 24 hour fast to alter the body on the stress it is going to undertake. Such diets are prevalent in other ancient cultures like the Roza during Ramzan fasting and lent for Good Friday. It is not advisable to go on an intermittent fast for a long period of time but done with the right guidance can help the body dredge and break the workout plateau most fitness enthusiasts run into after a regular period of time. An easier way to induce this diet is to do alternate days or just one 24 hour diet once a week! It’s my go to diet for body transformations when there isn’t much time between shoots.
