Excellent ‘Tea’m Work by the Chefs

Tata Global Beverages and Vivanta by Taj, MG Road hosted a Tea-inspired brunch at Cafe Mozaic, recently to celebrate the International Tea Day. Diners were drawn to the aroma of handpicked teas as they tucked in an exciting spread of tea-inspired dishes curated by the culinary team at the hotel and indulged in a lavish yet unusual Sunday brunch. It was an afternoon dedicated to the love for tea at the International Tea Day Brunch. The delectable and eclectic tea-based menu included Green tea chicken soup, Beef steak with tea jus, Grilled Mahi Mahi with tea broth, Roast pork leg soaked in tea brine and braised for 12 hours, Tea poached chicken breast, steamed broccoli and snow peas, malai tea sauce, Pan seared fish fillet with tea and galangal veloute, King prawns braised in tea and herbs, tossed vegetables along with an array of desserts like Tea and walnut cake, Tetley panna cotta, Chai lamington, Black tea ├ęclair, Chai ice cream and many more including a live station featuring sweet tea pancakes and chamomile waffles that best showcased the delicate flavours of different types of teas both black and green, over an exciting gastronomical experience. Taking the celebration for teas one notch higher, there was a live tea counter that served Tata Tea – Tata Tea Gold, Tetley and Tata Tea Teaveda.
