Dwhetstone was formed in 2004, as a school band. The band started playing shows in the local venues from 2005 and toured nationally from 2006. In between there were few lineup changes till 2009. From 2010 band started concentrating seriously in song writing and now have a solid rocking 13 originals. First competition won by the band is the Asian Beat band competition by Yamaha Music.co. After which, started participating in various national level competitions and have won many titles. The band also has headlined some college culturals and rock fests.
