24 year old Deeya Suzannah along with her father Ajeet Bajaj became the first Indian father-daughter duo to climb Mount Everest. They not only watched the sunrise from the top of the world, they also felt on top of the world.
They were both elated and tired at the same time as they did not have time to sleep. They were in constant touch with the expedition leader at the base camp who tracked their movements. Deeya wanted to prove to the world that given the right opportunity, any girl can reach the highest summit.
