Bangalore’s perfectly manicured Cubbon Park is becoming the biggest haven for yoga. The park that sees joggers going in for a run every day, as well as cyclists and runners pepping up for the week ahead, now has several Bangaloreans settling themselves in the park’s soothing environs to indulge in some yoga, meditation and pranayam.
Suruchi Mehta, a yoga enthusiast says she makes it a point to visit the park atleast thrice a week to practice yoga. “I carry my yoga mat. The serene environment landscaped with a variety of plants and flowers and with birds chirping right above, makes it conducive to relax the mind and meditate.”
With health-consciousness on the rise, the park’s really being utilised to the fullest!
