Barry Callebaut and Smoor launched new ruby chocolate products at a fun filled soiree in Indiranagar, Bengaluru recently. Barry Callebaut, the worlds’ leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products, launched the Smoor Ruby Chocolate in collaboration with Bliss Chocolates India. Ruby chocolate, developed by Barry Callebaut, is the fourth type of chocolate, after dark, milk and white. Smoor is Bliss Chocolate’s premium chocolate brand. Ruby chocolate is the most extraordinary chocolate discovery in the last 80 years. It is a gift of Mother Nature that brings a truly unique experience that is a sensual tango of berry fruitiness and luscious smoothness. The colour tone and flavour of the chocolate is naturally present in the ruby cocoa beans. The event displayed an array of ruby chocolate preparations from tablets, to pralines, to plated desserts and much more, and was attended by key members from the food industry. A ruby chocolate inspired fashion collection was also displayed by noted designer, Ramesh Dembla. “Bangalore is the chocolate capital of India and we at Smoor are thrilled and ecstatic about the launch of Ruby.
