Corporates paired with NGO kids to showcase their culinary expertise at the Hyatt Culinary Challenge 2017

To emphasize Hyatt’s focus on its rich culinary heritage, Hyatt Hotels in India introduced the “Hyatt Culinary Challenge –people cooking for people” and this year they celebrating the fourth season in October 2017 across 13 Hyatt India destinations. The Chennai leg of the preliminary rounds was held at Park Hyatt Chennai on 28th October 2017.

The Hyatt Culinary Challenge is a unique event that brought together eight individuals from the corporate realm on a common platform where they could showcase their culinary expertise and passion for food in an interactive culinary event. Each participant was paired with a child from an NGO, and they executed a recipe of their choice for the three judges – Gozde Eren (GM, Park Hyatt), Chef Vikram Ganpule and Food critic Ameeta Agnihotri.

Hyatt India Culinary Challenge preliminary rounds will be held across Hyatt Hotels in Chennai, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad,   Delhi, Mumbai, Goa, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ludhiana, Lucknow and Raipur in October 2017 and the finale will be held at Hyatt Regency Chennai on December 2, 2017. The corporate winner from each city will compete at the grand finale.

Speaking on the occasion, Harleen Mehta, VP Sales Operations, Hyatt South Asia said, “The Hyatt Culinary Challenge is an endeavor to bring together people to celebrate their passion for food and make a difference to the community while doing so.
