With Women’s Day round the corner, many organizations are doing their bit by giving awards to a few celebrities, here is an actress who is doing something innovative. She has organised a play to be performed by school children. The theme being The Pied Piper of Hamelin will be staged in Museum Theatre.
This bid will bring awareness to Project Putri, an NGO that supports and empowers girl children from Corporation Schools. Titled Art for a cause, twenty two kids from 3 to 13 years will be performing. They are being trained by world famous international theatre group Helen O Grady for the past six months.
