CBI case against Sasikala’s husband Natarajan picks up steam in Madras High Court.

A CBI case against M Natarajan, husband of the jailed AIADMK general secretary VK Sasikala, in connection with import of a Lexus car in 1994 is picking up momentum in the Madras high court. Natarajan was convicted by an economic offences court, and his appeals have been pending in the high court for around five years. During the tenure of Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul (since elevated to the Supreme Court as judge) as chief justice of the Madras high court, the CBI had given a memo seeking early hearing of the case.
