Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau who is on a week long visit to India along with his family, visited the Taj Mahal. He is the third foreign head of state to visit Gujarat in the past six months. Japanese PM Shinzo Abe visited last year and Israeli PM visited last month.
Trudeau will be visiting Gujarat, the home town of Prime Minister Modi where he will visit the Sabarmati Ashram, the Akshardham Temple and the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and interact with the students regarding employment opportunities. The tour is said to be aimed at boosting economic ties between the two countries.
