Poolside cocktails are par for the course during a visit to Beverly Hills, but only one boasts being home to an original: Trader Vic’s at The Beverly Hilton. The Polynesian-themed lounge serves island-inspired appetizers and over 75 exotic cocktails, but it’s practically a must to order a Mai Tai as the cocktail was invented by Victor “Trader Vic” Bergeron himself in 1944! The old and famous cocktail is made of rum, fresh lime, Orange Curacao, a dash of Rock Candy syrup, and a some French Orgeat! Everything you loved about the old Trader Vic’s – the staff, the cocktails, the tiki décor – it’s all still there. And yes, they still offer a variation on the pupu platter, thoughtfully updated Polynesian paradise poolside at The Beverly Hilton. This iconic hotel has been part of many movies, and one of the biggest entertainment award shows, The Golden Globes, has been filmed in the hotel’s International Ballroom since 1961. It can’t get more glamorous than that!

Beverly Hills is definitely a place where the glitterati sparkles at its best, and so will you!
