Day Three of the 17th edition of Wear.Style Bangalore Fashion Week saw brilliant masterpieces by designers Prreeti Jain, Pranshu Garg, Kavya & Pooja, Rahul Singh and Pria Kataria Puri. There was elegance and flamboyance at its zenith at Clarks Exotica with as some of the leading as well as budding designers of the country came together over the course of 26 runaway shows. The day began with students from Dream Zone displaying their set of designs, which consisted of innovative and modern clothing wear. Prreeti Jaiin Nainutia’s collection Nirmooha bought out the exuberance and charm of rich inheritance with intricate pearl and pitta work on the purest of cotton and silk materials. Kavya and Pooja created western cuts into Indian sensibilities. Blending fashion with luxury, internationally acclaimed fashion designer, Pria Kataaria Puri was the main highlight of the day as she showcased her new collection “Firdaus” which means paradise. Speaking about her interesting fusion of vibrant hues and hallmarked ethnic prints collection inspired from Persia & paisley designs, Pria commented, “I have tried to intertwine a heady mix of different cultures. This collection aims to explore an intriguing fusion of designs from across the globe and create something completely unique and refreshing.” Feroz Khan, event director, Dream Merchants, said, “Bangalore Fashion Week provides a platform to all budding and leading fashion designers alike. We are proud to introduce names that not only define the future of fashion but also bring in the rich fashion heritage the country has to offer.”
