Balancing the act of baking and blogging: I am a full time working IT professional working with IBM India as a solution manager. I love my job but I always believe in one line which is “keep your job and passion separate”. Job gives me stability and baking makes my soul happy. After a tiring day in office, baking give me the required dose of relaxation and unwinds me. When I started baking it was only for my loved ones, but then slowly I started taking orders. Blogging about my healthy recipes gives me the sense of accomplishment that I am trying to do my bit to make the world healthy.

Specialties: I specialise in keto, sugar free, gluten free and vegan baking. Our body does not deserve to have lot of processed junk hence I try to create beautiful healthy desserts.

Doing it differently: Usually people associate baking with unhealthy ingredients and general perception is  if the dish is healthy then definitely it is not tasty. I am trying to break this myth that healthy cannot be tasty or beautiful.  Also I try to make a social impact by taking part in various fundraisers or baking events. I usually try to update my healthy recipes in the blog so that it encourages everyone to try and use healthy alternatives without compromising the taste. I have tried to transform various deep fried Indian desserts in to baked one or with the healthier flours. Also I cater the special segment of people which have dietary restrictions like dairy or our usual flours/Sugars. My basic skill is to create a dish which is specifically crafted for the person who is ordered and yet can be eaten by all.

Baking trends: Use of alternative flours, Use of alternative/ natural sugars, Bake at home to avoid store brought foods. Baking is getting incorporated in different diets like Keto, Gluten free or sugar free.

Flourishing and how: I see lot of home bakers trying to cater to various segments depends on the capacity and capability. Though completion is very tough as big baking store have quite an elaborate infrastructure and tools. But now people are getting aware that home bakers use authentic ingredients and bake on specific demands.
