The U.S.Senate has unanimously voted to allow babies of its members into the chamber. This was done in order to accommodate senators with newborn babies. They will be allowed to take infants less than a year old and even breastfeed them during votes.

Now no senator will be prevented from performing their constitutional responsibilities just because they have a baby. The U.S.Senate is setting a good example and sending the important message that working parents deserve family friendly workplace policies.
