The Justice Arumughasamy Commission which is probing into the hospitalisation and death of former Chief Minister Jayalalitha has expressed it’s desire to question her aide V.K Sasikala who is now lodged in Bengaluru prison after being convicted in the disproportionate assets case.

The Judge has accordingly written a letter to the prison authorities for their consent. The Senior Ministers of the AIADMK said that Sasikala was totally in charge of all the arrangements relating to the hospitalisation at the Apollo Hospital and it was her decision not to take Jayalalitha abroad for treatment. Hence in order to get a clear picture of the entire happenings, the Commission seeks to question Sasikala.
