It is a well-known fact that Ranveer Singh will be doing a biopic on Kapil Dev, which has been titled ’83.  The film will showcase the success journey of Kapil Dev and Team India during the 1983 world cup. The entire team of actors is already in the UK shooting for the film. Recent reports have confirmed that after the end of the current world cup, Kabir Khan will shoot the final match of the 1983 world cup at the legendary Lord’s stadium in England.

According to reports, the shooting schedule for ’83 has been designed in a way that major portions of the film will be shot by mid-July. The movie will be revisiting the incident where Romi left the match midway assuming India’s defeat.

However, later when the wickets were falling and she wanted to get back into the stadium, she couldn’t because she had given her pass away. According to reports, the team has already shot for yet another memorable match which saw India take on Zimbabwe where Kapil Dev played a good innings scoring 175 runs off 138 balls. The movie will hit the theatres in April 2020.
