When Chef Roxanne Lange, Chef de Cuisine of the multiple-award winning restaurant “The Reflections” at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok is in Bengaluru to showcase her culinary prowess, you know it’s going to be a masterpiece. Chef de Cuisine Chef Roxanne Lange is showcasing her gastronomical delights at Alba, JW Marriott Hotel Bengaluru all this week, where you can savour the true essence of France in a modern culinary journey. She brings unique interpretations of modern French cuisine prepared to impeccable standards at ALBA, from The Reflections at The Athenee Hotel, A Luxury Hotel in Bangkok. Coddle in a luscious four or five course menu that includes dishes like Tomato with Gazpacho, Balsamic and Goat Cheese; Seabass with Mushroom, Onion and Truffle; Duck Liver and apple; Lamb rack with Bell pepper, Sun choke and Lamb Jus. To balance the rich enticing menu, end it on a sweet and tangy note with the classic combination of Strawberries, Yoghurt and Vanilla with a twist. A Dutch national, Roxanne trained formally at the well-respected culinary school in Rotterdam, and quickly progressed to virtuosity in a variety of cuisines. Of her almost two decades of experience, she has spent honing her talent in top Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe, with focus on perfecting modern French cuisine for over six years. Prior to taking the helm at The Reflexions, Chef Roxanne worked with Michelin star chef Henk Savelberg as the much-admired Chef De Cuisine at “Savelberg Bangkok”. Her previous position was as Junior Sous Chef with Michelin-starred “Restaurant Hermitage” and “Restaurant FG” in Rotterdam, Holland. After that, she was a sous chef at Savelberg in Holland. Her special qualifications include cold kitchen, warm kitchen and pastry.
